Fort Buis has a well equipt, relaxing bar - here guests can gather for pre-drinks, watch television, play a game of darts, pool or table tennis, or simply discuss the day's activities.

Swimming Pool

Fort Buis also boasts a refreshing swim in the pool after a hard, hot day on "safari", nothing can beat diving into a "revamped" farm dam to cool one's aching bones and sun-drenched senses.

Hiking / Jogging / Walking

• The lodge offers a 1.4km route for jogging or walking.
• Hiking can be done in the game farm with our expert guides, as there are trails varying in difficulty.
  Fresh water taps can be found among these routes.
  
  

Quad Biking

• Come experience the real thing and encounter the obstacles on our quad trail. No experience is needed; our guides will instruct you in such a way that this amazing activity can be safely enjoyed.

Shooting range

Bow hunting

• Archery is one of the ancient activities that we offer using modern day equipment. We use modern
  curved bows. The guide will safely brief you on how to use the equipment.

Game & 4x4 Drives

Searching for wildlife in their natural environment from the comforts of a an open Land Rover conducted by a professional guide twice daily that educates the visitors about the enivronment is definately a must! No 4x4 game drive is ever the same. There's always plenty of adventures to be had.

Our drives range between 2-3 hours depending on the sightings and activities.
